ABOUT THE EVENT
In honor of Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Eta Gamma Omega Chapter, along with chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ® around the world will celebrate a day of service. Eta Gamma Omega Chapter is dedicated to the unhoused community by distributing thermal blankets, socks and other items essential for this community as the winter season approaches. Partnering with Loaves & Fishes of Sacramento, it is our goal to distribute over 200 thermal blankets and pairs of socks on January 17, 2022 at their facility located at 1351 C St., Sacramento, CA.
Last year, we were able to collect over 100 thermal blankets and over 200 pairs of socks. This year, we want to increase our numbers of support to this deserving and much needed community. Join us in making a greater impact to them – it’s as simple as making a donation to our community impact Amazon Wishlist (Click this link to make your donation). Make sure your donation arrives no later than January 15, 2022.
Thank you in advance for joining us in housing the unhoused community of Sacramento!
Donations to Eta Gamma Omega Chapter of AKA are not subject to a tax deduction because HGO is designated as a 501c(7) nonprofit intity.
