2024 Scholarship Program Announcement

Monday, March 25, 2024

 

The Eta Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® announces its annual scholarship application. We invite students to apply for scholarships. The online applications and requirements are located at our website: www.etagammaomega.org.

 

 

Application Requirements:

• Student’s permanent home is in the Greater Sacramento Area.

 

Application must include the following:

Step 1:   Submit the appropriate online application:

• High School Senior Scholarship

•  Undergraduate STEM Scholarship

• Undergraduate – HBCU Scholarship

 

Step 2:   Email the ATTACHMENTS which are to be compiled, scanned, and emailed as ONE PDF FILE to the Scholarship Chairman at akahgoscholarships@gmail.com by 11:59 p.m. on MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2024.

Step3:    Write In the subject line, "NAME- AKA SCHOLARSHIP SUBMISSION"

(e.g. Sarah Jones – HS scholarship submission).  

       

Required Attachments

• Recent Color Photo headshot.

• An official transcript including last semester's grades. 

• A typed and SIGNED letter by the applicant (see application for specifics) 

• Two (2) letters of recommendation (High School) 

  • One letter from SCHOOL personnel

  • One letter from an individual in the COMMUNITY

• One (1) Letter of Recommendation (College) from COLLEGE personnel

• Federal Tax Return (2022 or 2023) from the parent/guardian (Black out the social security numbers before sending.)
